Sales DMEK Loading Funnel
The Sales DMEK Loading Funnel was created in collaboration with GWSG and Christopher S. Sales, MD, MPH after noticing an opportunity to reduce endothelial cell loss (ECL). The accessory serves as a loading funnel to assist in the process of loading DMEK tissue into a Weiss Glass Cannula. Baylis Eyelid Plate
The Baylis Eyelid Plate was created in collaboration with Dr. Henry Baylis. It is a smooth glass instrument with two ends, both of which have a convex and a concave surface which can conform to the ocular surfaces. The concave surface is directed towards the surface of the eye while the convex surface is adjacent to the posterior surface of the eyelid. There are two different widths at either end of the instrument to allow the instrument to be adapted to different applications. While one end of the instrument is used to protect the globe the other end of the instrument is used as a handle by the surgeon to position the instrument. Weiss Glass Cannula- Besson
The Weiss Glass Cannula Besson tube was created in collaboration with GWSG and the Lions Eye Bank of West Central Ohio.
